In time of this pandemic, Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Council doubled its effort in the conduct programs that covers health, nutrition, early education, and social services for children. One of its effort is the webinar entitled, “Webinar on Regional Forum on Assessing Children and Development of Weekly Plan During this time of Pandemic.” The two (2) hour webinar was attended by TransCo Day Care Center Teachers, Ms. April A. Pajo and Ms. Daniela B. Oppus.
The webinar provided assistance to its participant on the implementation of a Center-Based Program in an Alternative Venue (CBPAV), especially in the preparation of Learning Resource Materials (LSM) and in matters of assessment and designing weekly plans.
“Since us teachers cannot observes the child personally because of the pandemic we need the support and help of the parents to ensure that the child is developing and learning. This webinar taught us that we teachers need to ensure continuous learning and development of children amidst the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Teacher Daniela.
